Parent Survey
Dear families,
Thank you for taking part in our school survey. The results provide us with incredibly valuable feedback as we continue to plan ways in which we can ensure our school is as good at it can be.
There were some real positives in the survey, and I have summarised some of the most encouraging feedback below:
90% of respondents agree or strongly agree that their child is happy at school (10% unsure, 0% disagree)
97% of respondents agree or strongly agree that their child feels welcome at school (3% disagree)
100% of respondents agree or strongly agree that their child is making progress at school
100% of respondents agree or strongly agree that their child enjoys their learning
90% of respondents gave the school a 4- or 5-star rating for how happy they were with the quality of education being provided by the school (10% gave 3 out of 5, 0% gave lower than three)
However, this survey is a way for us to better understand things you think we could do better. For this, areas for us to reflect on further include:
65% of respondents gave the school 4- or 5- star for school lunches – we want to do better1
47% of respondents thought there was a good range of clubs available – we know we can improve this2
37% of respondents did not feel school uniform was reasonably priced – we want to find ways to reduce the costs of uniform wherever we can3
We will continue to reflect upon the survey results and parental surveys will become a regular feature on the school calendar. Can I offer a particular thank you to those who have made specific suggestions for ways we can improve, and a huge thanks to all those who have left kind and complimentary comments.
We are all here to provide the education your children deserve – thank you for working with us to help us become the best we can be.
Kindest regards,
Michael Merrick
