Mrs Fairless teaches Year 2 on a Tuesday afternoon.

Reading and Homework

Reading:

We encourage children to enjoy reading at home, helping them develop a love for books and stories. We ask that children aim for at least 10 minutes of reading, three times a week. They will bring their reading books and reading records home, where reading can be recorded. Please can these come into school daily. 

Homework:

Children will get maths and spelling homework on a Friday. Please can this be returned by the following Friday. 

PE and Forest School 

PE will take place on a Tuesday afternoon

Forest School will usually take place on a Thursday afternoon, depending on timetabling.

Our class saint 

Our class saint for Year 2 is Saint Elizabeth. 

We will celebrate the Feast Day in November
